Among the number of amazing professional Baruzzo had the chance to work with in 2011 you can find Daniel Thorold, the charming founder of Thorold Wines in Ritherdon Road.
Daniel's love for wine culture and for the magic of a nicely done tasting matches the passion and the energy he "pours" in his lovely collection of labels and bottles.
Thorold Wines is a small, family-run business, kept as an informal and beautifully unpretentious wine service, spreading the liquid love to the local area of Balham, Tooting, Streatham and Clapham.
As well as creating Thorold Wines in Ritherdon Road (London SW17), Daniel created The Good Wine Shop in St Margaret's, Twickenham, and managed The Grape Shop in the nearby Northcote Road, and El Vino in Fleet Street.

The lovely market is right in the heart of London and Baruzzo will be offering the last boxes of handmade chocolate left: we are almost sold out!
TimeOut London, with its impeccable taste, noticed the lovely market and featured the beautiful event:
"This popular garden centre introduces its first Christmas market. It's held outside the café, and seven independent companies will set up folksy stalls with gifts, chocolate, toys, sweets, accessories, various seasonal curios and, naturally, a lot of plants."

2011 Centenary of Independence In 1911 King's College School came of age. An Act of Parliament in that year gave us independence from the College. We gained our own Governing Body and took full control of our destiny.
The relationship with King’s College continues to be a happy partnership to this day, a century on – and many KCS boys have followed their forefathers in going on to study there. The centenary of our independence provides us with an excellent opportunity to celebrate many of the different facets that make King’s the great school that we know today.
